Protection of the Base Crown Against Decay

To safeguard the base crown of the timber structure from rotting, a larch underlay board is placed between the foundation and the base crown.

Why Larch is Used
High Density:

Larch wood is denser compared to other types, making it highly resistant to wear and deformation.
Water Resistance:

Naturally resistant to moisture, it prevents the base crown from absorbing water and rotting over time.
Effective Isolation:

Acts as a protective barrier, ensuring the base crown stays dry and durable.

For securing the crowns of the beams and preventing uneven settlement, galvanized metal studs and wooden dowels are used.

In hard-to-reach areas where adjustment is challenging, special connecting screws called “Uzel Sila” are employed. These consist of a screw, spring, and special washers—thanks to this design, the upper beam is always pulled towards the lower one during the settling process of the house.

For securing beams and timber on the exterior of the house, stainless steel studs are used. These do not rust when exposed to the environment and do not leave stains on the timber.

Exterior Columns:
The exterior columns, located on terraces and porches, are mounted on specially designed WWL Houses metal supports. These supports isolate the column from the foundation, preventing moisture absorption and decay.

For adjusting the structures during the settling process, reinforced jacks, specifically developed and manufactured for WWL Houses, are used.

During the construction and further interior finishing of the house, a temporary rough interfloor staircase is installed.

Purpose and Benefits
Facilitates Work and Inspections:

Allows workers to move between floors, enabling efficient work and inspections throughout the construction process.
Safety and Reliability:

Designed to be secure and stable, ensuring safe movement during construction.
Temporary Solution:

Serves as a provisional staircase until the final, permanent staircase is installed.
